Clearance Items

When items are on clearance what this means is we are or the manufacturer is discontinuing the selected items.  in result this means that these items cannot be put on backorder or hold.  We will only ship the items that we have in stock.  We hope you enjoy these great deals as they become available and we appreciate your business.

Holiday Sale

During our holiday sales some manufacturers do not allow us to discount their products.  These vendors include:  G-loomis, Shimano, Abu Garcia, Dobyns, Reaction innovations, Jackall, Megabass and a small host of others upon their request.  We thank you for your business and hope you have a Great Holiday Season.

Welcome to Tackle Experts!  At Tackle Experts we strive to provide each and every customer with 100% satisfaction.  We’re not your average online tackle website, we’re fishermen too, so we know your needs!  We do our very best to provide our customers with reasonable product prices, and shipping rates.  The following is information on our customer service and shipping policies.  Please take a moment to review them or please call us at 1-270-388-6440.

Ordering Products

You may order any of the products that you see through the online store, or you may call us at 1-270-388-6440 to place your order over the phone with one of our experienced staff members.  You may call during our normal business hours of 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Monday thru Saturday, Eastern Standard Time. 

Products purchased and received in the state of Kentucky are subject to Kentucky sales tax.

Payment Methods

We accept only VISA and Master Card, but payment may also be made by money order.

Shipping Terms and Rates

All orders will be shipped United States Postal Service unless specified otherwise.  Please note appropriately on your order if you have any other needs, and we will contact you.

All expedited orders are shipped UPS.  In the event that you need your order UPS Next Day, Second Day, or Third Day, please place your order online and call us at 1-270-388-6440 for an accurate shipping quote, however additional shipping charges may be incurred. 


In the occurrence of a backorder situation in which your order must be shipped separately from the backordered portion, you will only be charged shipping for the immediate shipment, and a $3.00 shipping fee will be incurred for the backordered portion.

If an item you have ordered is currently on backorder please specify when ordering if you would like your order to be divided into two portions (the immediate order and the backordered portion) or put on hold until the entirety of the order can be processed and shipped together.  Backordered products are not guaranteed to arrive at a specific date as they are dictated by the manufacturer.

Because our records are automatically cleared after 30 days, all orders older than 30 days will be cancelled. 

Orders that are over $50 and are, “split,” will incur a $3.00 charge for the shipment of the backordered item.  The portion ordered immediately will qualify for free shipping and will be shipped as scheduled.  All split orders will incur a $3.00 fee.

Sometimes a backorder may occur even when sufficient stock is shown online.  This is unpredictable and happens when an item is purchased in store and online at the same time.  In this situation, you will be notified and Tackle Experts will pay for the backordered items to ship.

When you have noted your order to be put on hold, Tackle Experts will occasionally choose to ship your incomplete order due to not receiving shipments from vendors and manufacturers in a timely manner. 

Return Policies

If you receive a damaged package you should either refuse the shipment or take the damaged package to the post office upon receiving it.  Notify Tackle Experts as soon as the damaged package is received. 

If you receive a damaged or defective product you may return the item/s for a replacement or refund.  All damaged and defective products and shipments must be shipped back to Tackle Experts for further inspection and refunding. 

Upon receiving a damaged shipment or defective product you must notify Tackle Experts within 48 hours and return the package within 15 days to receive a refund or replacement. 

If you have simply changed your mind about a product that you have ordered, you may return the unused, undamaged, unopened, and in new condition product for a refund or exchange if the product is returned within 15 days.  

 In all cases, you are responsible for freight to return the product or package.  Upon inspection of the package or product you will receive a replacement free of shipping charges.  If you have any questions regarding our return policies please give us a call.

Frequently Asked Questions

1.  If some of the products I order are backordered, will I be charged for the whole shipment?

No!  In a backorder situation, you will only be charged for what is shipped out on your order. 

2.  What is the advantage of registering on the website?

By registering on the website it allows us to process your orders much more quickly because we will already have your shipping information.  Another advantage is that by registering you can see and track all of your previous orders.   

3.  How can I track my shipment?

Once your order is processed, you will be emailed a tracking number for your shipment.  You can log onto to track the status, and shipping of your order.
