Gene Larew Biffle Bug

$4.99

The Gene Larew Biffle Bug is quite the extraordinary bait. The body of the Biffle Bug is slim and wide, surrounded by appendages, and ribbed through the center. The nose of the Biffle Bug is solid for inserting a hook while the body is hollow to ensure good hooksets. The hollow body is in the shape of an oval to better hold a rattle through natural compression. The Biffle Bug also features swimming legs that go wild with the slightest twitch of the rod. You can also remove the legs of the Biffle Bug for a more compact gliding bait.

Tommy Biffle won the 2010 Bassmaster Elite Series Sooner Run on Ft. Gibson lake and the 2010 PAA Cherokee Lake event in back to back weeks by using the Biffle Bug with a unique presentation. His Secret? He rigged the Biffle Bug on a Gene Larew Biffle Hardhead, a football head with a free swinging hook and cranked the bait slowly over rocks and structure along the bottom. By doing this the Biffle Bug would draw bass in with action from the Biffle Bug by deflecting the bait off enticing a reaction strike from feeding bass. The perfect feeding crawfish immitation.
